Text to Speech AI
Effective date: May 16, 2026
Last updated: May 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Text to Speech AI (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”)
handles information when you use our Android application. By installing or using the App, you agree
to the practices described in this policy.
1. Summary
Text to Speech AI converts text you enter into spoken audio using artificial intelligence.
The App is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account.
Some features rely on third-party services (text-to-speech processing, advertising, and optional
in-app subscriptions).
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Text content: The words, scripts, or narration text you type or paste into the App to generate speech.
- Voice selection: Your chosen AI voice and related generation settings.
- Clipboard (optional): If you use the Paste action, the App reads text from your device clipboard only when you tap Paste.
2.2 Information stored on your device
The App may store the following locally on your phone or tablet:
- Generated audio files and a limited history of recent narrations (up to the last 10 items).
- Draft text and session data so you can continue where you left off.
- Free-plan usage counters (for example, daily character limits).
- Pro subscription status after a successful purchase or restore.
- App preferences needed for the App to function.
This data remains on your device unless you delete it (for example, by clearing history, uninstalling
the App, or using your device’s clear-data option).
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Device and app data: Basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, language, and app version may be processed by third-party SDKs listed below.
- Advertising data: If ads are shown, Google AdMob may collect or receive identifiers and usage data as described in Google’s policies.
- Purchase data: If you subscribe to Pro, Google Play Billing processes payment and subscription status. We receive information needed to unlock Pro features (such as whether a subscription is active).
We do not knowingly collect your name, email address, or phone number through the App itself unless you contact us directly.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Generate text-to-speech audio at your request.
- Save, play, download, and share audio you create.
- Enforce free and Pro plan limits.
- Display advertisements to free users (where applicable).
- Process and restore in-app subscriptions through Google Play.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the App.
- Respond to support requests you send us.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses third parties that may process data under their own privacy policies:
-
Text-to-speech API (via RapidAPI): Your text and voice parameters are sent over an
encrypted connection to a third-party provider to produce audio. Do not enter sensitive personal
data (passwords, financial details, government IDs, health records, etc.) unless you accept that risk.
-
Google Play Services / Google Play Billing: For optional Pro subscriptions and purchase restoration.

-
Google AdMob: For displaying ads in the free version.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their policies.
5. Permissions
The App may request the following Android permissions:
- Internet: Required to generate speech, show ads, and verify subscriptions.
- Billing: Required for optional Pro in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Storage (Android 9 and below only): May be used to save audio files to your device when you choose to download.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only:
- With service providers that help operate the App (as described in Section 4).
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, us, or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice where required by law.
7. Data Retention
- On-device history, drafts, and audio files are kept until you delete them or uninstall the App.
- Text sent for speech generation is processed by our API provider and is not stored by us on our own servers; retention by that provider is governed by their policies.
- Subscription records are retained as needed to provide Pro access and comply with tax and legal obligations through Google Play.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted network connections (HTTPS), to protect
data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal
information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your data. You can:
- Delete history items or clear all history inside the App.
- Clear the App’s data in your device Settings.
- Uninstall the App to remove locally stored data.

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights
under applicable laws (such as GDPR or CCPA). Contact us to exercise those rights.
11. International Transfers
Third-party providers may process data in countries other than your own. By using the App, you understand
that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different
data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the
latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy. For material
changes, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
